Gugu naGogo at the 2023 New York International Children’s Film Festival
In March, 2023, over 70 people crowdfunded to help me get to New York for Gugu naGogo’s international premiere at the New York International Children’s Film Festival.
It was an amazing experience and I learnt so much from meeting other filmmakers, producers and of course, young kids who were there to enjoy all the films.
Our team was thrilled to win an Audience Award as well — thank you, New York!
